Hotel Aguas de Bodoquena

The breakfast was a real plus, with plenty of fresh, tasty options, and the hotel has a lovely building, good parking, and a spacious pool area. For Bodoquena, it’s one of the better hotels. The rooms could use a few basics: somewhere to hang wet towels, chairs for sitting or setting down luggage, and a table or counter. The bigger issue was the electric shower. Ours was broken and nobody repaired it, so we had to shower in cold water. They offered another room the next day, but by then it was no use to us. A hotel of this size should consider solar-heated showers.

We stayed in a large room with three beds, a minibar, TV, and air conditioning. The place was quiet, clean, and tastefully put together, in a nice neighborhood of Bodoquena. It’s also accessible, with areas you can reach without using stairs. There are two great pools and a big shared space with a barbecue area, games, and hammocks. The staff were so kind and polite, and everything at breakfast was well organized. In the morning we heard curicacas and got to take lots of photos. Breakfast was good, too. I was surprised to find such a cozy, lovely hotel in a small town in the countryside of Mato Grosso do Sul. I loved it all and definitely recommend it.
