Hotel la Sierra

The room was a decent size, and the bed and shower met expectations, but housekeeping fell short. They didn't clean the room on Sundays, for reasons I couldn't understand. The shared areas were often quite dirty, which we were told was because 40 workers from a company were staying there. The hotel is on an unpaved road, and there were groups of men drinking outside the entrance. I wouldn't really recommend it for someone traveling with a wife and family, as I was. Breakfast wasn't even reasonable. The black coffee didn't taste like coffee, there wasn't a single pão de queijo during the three days we stayed, and the dishes were plastic. It was basically bread with cheese and ham, plus one fruit. On our last day, there was a pallet just left on the ground in our parking space. The price isn't high, but there's a lot that needs improving before I'd stay again.

The owners were polite and helpful, and the service was great. We stayed from January 2 to 4, 2026. Our room was clean and tidy, and both the air conditioning and shower worked really well. Breakfast was tasty, too. We were very well looked after and will be back soon!

The staff were extremely polite and helpful, and the price is very reasonable, one of the cheapest options in the area. The hotel is on an unpaved road, but only about three blocks of it. It works well if you spend the whole day at a balneário and just need a good bed, shower, and air conditioning for the night. Breakfast is really tasty and has what you need, without any frills.

My family and I stayed here and liked it a lot. It was really clean, breakfast was great, and we were welcomed warmly. I'd recommend it!
