Absolutely top-notch.

It’s one block from both mar de dentro and mar de fora in Canto Grande, so the location is excellent. The price is fair, and the staff and owners are very caring. They provide beach chairs, an umbrella, breakfast, and a heated pool. There’s also a shared space for making your own food, with an electric stove, two grills, and basic cooking utensils. A very good inn.

Both beaches are just two blocks away. A beautiful, welcoming place that works well for families with children.

We booked two apartments, one for four people upstairs and one for one person on the ground floor. The upstairs apartment was fine for cleanliness, linens, and towels. The ground-floor one was hidden away at the back of the inn in a dark spot, and we found two cockroaches there, one while showering. The pool area is very pretty and the pool is heated, but on hot days the water became unbearably hot. There doesn’t seem to be any temperature control. There’s no food or drink service at the pool. The shared barbecue area is very stuffy, and we only got to use it on our last night because the same large group seemed to occupy it on the other days. On the last day of our four-day stay, I noticed the sink and toilet water in the bathroom looked yellowish. Breakfast was plentiful; I’d suggest adding plain yogurt and fresh or white cheese. The location is excellent, close to Praia do Canto, both mar de dentro and mar de fora, and the center of Canto Grande. Overall it was a good stay, since we were hardly at the inn and had great weather, but we missed having a shared lounge area, such as a living room with games or a TV.
