Bombinhas Pousada Camping

Maneca made us feel very welcome. He was kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay, and the service deserves credit. The rooms were clean, though our bathroom was a little dirty. Breakfast was very basic: sliced bread, cheese, ham, cake, and fruit, with coffee, orange juice, or yogurt and granola to drink or have with it. The location isn't right by the center, but it's pretty good, and you can walk to all the beaches. Just keep in mind we were young and had no health or mobility issues for those walks. Parking inside the inn was free. Since it's also a campground, there were several tents outside where people who sell beach bracelets and braids were staying. We had no problems, and everything went fine during our visit.

I called ahead, arranged to come, and said I was on my way. When I arrived, the place was packed, with no clear separation between the tents. The person who greeted me said everyone there was part of the same family, an Indigenous tribe that had been camping there for months. The bathroom was very dirty. I was upset that nobody told me over WhatsApp, when I asked, that the campground was completely full. The man who spoke with me said I should look for somewhere else to stay for several reasons. I visited ten years ago, and it was a completely different place. It was beautiful, with little green grass, clean and well cared for by a lovely white-haired older man. Sadly, it's chaotic now. I stayed at Retiro dos Padres, where I met other families who had also been to bombinhas Pousada e camping and were disappointed.

We'd definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly, the location was great, and the accommodation was excellent. They offer camping and hostel-style rooms. Breakfast is available too, and while the selection isn't large, it's adequate.
