Cool.

The breakfast was really good, with plenty of choices, and the location is excellent. Staff were incredibly welcoming and happy to answer questions. There’s also round-the-clock security with cameras watching the property. Definitely recommend it.

The morning receptionist was especially kind and helpful. Housekeeping was meant to come every other day, but she cleaned our room daily when we asked, and towels were changed every two days. Breakfast, served outside the hotel, was the main reason I’m giving two stars. Our room was beside the grill, so whenever people were using it, sleeping was impossible. There were no signs asking guests to keep noise down, and they didn’t respect sleeping hours. At other hotels I’ve stayed in, noise is restricted from 10 pm to 6 am, but not here. The location is handy, just one block from the beach entrance, especially for families with small children. But the room itself was uncomfortable: very thin mattresses, damp curtains, and an awful bathroom with barely any water from the shower. The shower by the parking lot worked better. Worst of all was the terrible sewage smell from the bathroom. The pool water was dirty when we arrived, though they cleaned it later. They also charge 5 reais for hot water for mate, which should be included for hotel guests, particularly at the price per night.

We recommend going in December, when it’s less crowded and there are Christmas celebrations in the area. The hotel has a well-kept outdoor pool, a barbecue area, and its own restaurant. Rooms come with a minibar and air conditioning. Breakfast has lots of choices, and the staff are attentive and ready to help. The location is excellent, and the beach service is great, with umbrellas and chairs provided at no charge. Mariano and Jason were especially courteous.
