We only stayed two nights at Makkai Resort, and the weather meant we couldn't enjoy it as much as we wanted. We hope to return soon. The facilities, comfort, and service still left us delighted. The rooms are cozy, the shared spaces are well cared for, and the leisure area is great for relaxing and enjoying time together. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice and everything nicely prepared. The whole team was warm and attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. A wonderful experience, and a place we'd recommend to anyone looking for comfort, peace, and thoughtful service.

We stayed in suite 207, a Superior Luxury room facing the pool. We enjoyed our stay overall. The place was quiet and clean, and the staff were very attentive, especially the restaurant and bar team, who were always smiling. We most enjoyed the room, pool, and restaurant. The food was very good, as were the drinks. In my opinion, though, this is more of a hotel or inn than a resort, since it doesn't have any special entertainment beyond the pool. There's a large lawn with a small pond that has no fish, a small sand court, and a basic playground for children with a trampoline and a hammock corner. The games area has a large pool table and foosball, but you have to go to reception for the balls whenever you want to play. The kids' area is also very small, more like a room with a little ball pit, a small plastic slide, and a few toys, and you have to get the key from reception each time. There's an arcade machine, but it doesn't work. The sauna doesn't work either.
