Alejandro was attentive to everything we needed, and the apartment has all the amenities. We also found it good value, with the ocean just steps away. A little upkeep would help, though: the patio could use some gardening and replacement furniture, and there was a slight musty smell in the bathroom cabinet and beneath the counter.

The inn is right on the sand, and our room had an equipped kitchen with the simple essentials. The room was clean, and we liked our stay. Bring your own bedding, table, and bath linens. The inn staff were great: late at night, we accidentally broke the key because the lock was hard to close, but they found a locksmith and came over to sort it out. I hope to return soon.

The apartment was spacious and the location really is wonderful, but our stay was awful because of the mold and the lack of proper cleaning. The walls and pillows were moldy, and the bathroom walls and ceiling were black with it and smelled terrible. I sent reception a video showing a napkin coming away BLACK after I wiped the bathroom door. They sent a woman to clean, but she only wiped over it and said she couldn't clean it properly then. I bought supplies and cleaned the bedroom, hallway, and living room walls myself so we could sleep. We spent the whole week like that, and nobody checked in about the cleaning afterward. It's a shame, because the place has such a great location and a lovely setting. The inn is for sale. I hope someone buys it who will treat guests with respect, because our situation was lamentable.

So far, the date has only been discussed by phone. After seeing the photos, I had excellent communication with the owners, and their attention over WhatsApp was very good. I'm about to reserve a place for December.
