We went with the children, and they had a blast in the playroom and on the beach. The place is beautiful, right on the shore, with a stunning view of the forest and sea. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there’s a restaurant and supermarket nearby. It was a fantastic experience.

The air conditioning was old and very noisy, and there was no maid service on Sundays. Room cleaning wasn’t enough, and they didn’t replenish the hand soap. We stayed for 10 days. Breakfast was very basic, with little fruit, and the food wasn’t replenished.

It’s far from everything, and getting out of the area is awful. The steep driveway makes parking so difficult you’ll wreck your car. This place is only for 4x4s, and nobody explains that to those of us with regular cars.

The beach is quiet even in peak season, since it’s a fishing beach that doesn’t get too crowded. It’s ideal if you want to relax without the bustle. The pousada is right by the sea with direct beach access, chairs and umbrellas, an outdoor shower, and a lawn with a pergola where you can unwind with the sound of the ocean. Muriel welcomed us warmly, and this was my second visit. The service is still great. Breakfast is homemade and varied, simple but delicious, with everything you need. The main downside is that large markets and distributors are far away, though that’s no problem if you arrive well prepared.

The beach has boats anchored in the water, and it isn’t a fishing beach. The inn provides a full breakfast, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. I’m staying here now and highly recommend it. The service is attentive, the location is great, and the inn has everything you need. A great place to stay!
