Pousada Oceânica

It's right on the sand, with a supermarket, fish shop, and everything else close by. The place is wonderful, and Adry and Junior gave us impeccable service. We'll come back!

The innkeeper was rude and arrogant, and had no real interest in sorting out any of the problems. This was easily the worst place we've ever stayed, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. Finding the entrance was a puzzle because the layout felt like a labyrinth, almost like a ghost train. The access roads through the complex are so narrow that cars have to take turns. One night, a parked car blocked us in when we wanted to leave. Fortunately, it wasn't an emergency. The apartment was poorly cleaned, if it was cleaned at all. There was a clump of hair in the shower drain when we arrived, and I removed it before my wife saw it so we could avoid a scene before we'd even settled in. We had to pay the remaining balance before getting the keys, and later understood why. There was a nauseating smell coming from the pipes. One afternoon we got back from the beach to find no water. They said it was a problem across Bombinhas and wouldn't be fixed until the next day. Several guests complained, and eventually the water came back. Another night, my daughter was bathing when the electric shower exploded. It's a miracle she wasn't electrocuted. The next day a maintenance worker covered the wires with electrical tape. The mattresses were just mats. There was an anthill under the kitchen sink. The dining room and other shared spaces were locked at night, so we couldn't use them. Beside the back parking area was a makeshift structure, and nobody seemed to know who lived there or what it was for.

The location is wonderful, but the beds and pillows are thin, and the shower kept cutting out while we were using it. The stove, fridge, and shower are all quite old. We had no water one morning in late March because, apparently, a guest hadn't noticed the toilet flush was leaking. It felt like a maintenance issue. Breakfast cost 45,00 extra.

The view was beautiful, and the inn is right on the sand. Adry welcomed us so warmly, and the whole place was cozy, comfortable, clean, and well organized. Breakfast? I don't even know what to say, it was that good. My family and I have nothing to complain about. We'll definitely return. We're already missing it 🩷🩷🩷
