The apartments are practical, the rooms are clean, and the staff are nice. Food is decent, too. There’s beach service with umbrellas, chairs, food, and cold beer, plus indoor and outdoor pools, though both are cold. The beach itself was clean, and there’s AC and internet.

The streets are clean and traffic is good, but I really wouldn't recommend this place. The sea smells strongly of sewage, and people often leave sick. They charge to enter a city where there seems to be no oversight of businesses. I only saw a patrol car making rounds once. Bars and restaurants add a 10% charge, and if you refuse, they nearly get physical with you. Prices are wildly inflated for such a terrible place.

Carnival 2026: Room hygiene left a LOT to be desired, and the towels were awful. Honestly, they looked like cloth diapers. What a disgrace. I'd give accommodation maintenance a 3. The one person I do want to praise is Sra. Rita, who handles breakfast. She was attentive, very helpful, and careful with her work. I don't recommend the rest.
