The best part was how close we were to the beaches and town center, with an exit just three blocks from the complex. The owners were friendly, too. But arriving to water dripping from the living room ceiling and the main bedroom AC leaking indoors was a rough start. We waited for technicians, lost time, and even after they came, the repair wasn't complete. No one had told us about extras like bottled water or breakfast, and the kitchen was missing some necessary utensils. The maintenance staff really needs to change.

Mario made our stay especially memorable. He was always around, kind, attentive, and ready to help, and the rest of the team were professional and welcoming too. At Refugio de Mar in Canto Grande, we felt at home from the start. It's close to the beach, with lovely scenery, and the place is comfortable, peaceful, and carefully looked after. A place I'd happily return to. (Fernando)

The shared spaces were a real plus, with a pool, grills, and more. Mario and the team were welcoming right away, and my double room had a fully equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom, and a bedroom. The rooms, apartments, and houses have the basics needed to feel comfortable. Such a lovely place, highly recommend it!

Mario, the owner, was incredibly warm, and the place was clean. Breakfast was excellent, and when we ran out of water on our last night, it was sorted out within a couple of hours. Our room had good mattresses, plenty of shelves and drawers, lots of outlets, an armchair, a table and chairs, a refrigerator, and a microwave. There was no stovetop or oven, unlike some nearby accommodations, but we could heat water in another shared area, so it still worked well for us.

Mario is a genius, thanks so much for everything! We’re leaving really happy. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and trustworthy. The place is beautiful and comfortable, close to the beaches, and a great price. Highly recommended!
