The beach is just a few meters away, and the location is great. Inside, the apartment was clean, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it.

The location is the apartment’s one real advantage. The area seemed nice and safe overall. Inside, though, it’s cramped: three people already feel like too many. There’s no table, and a sofa bed blocks the bar, leaving room for just two to eat comfortably. The chairs are too tall for it. The bathroom is very basic and hygiene left a lot to be desired. The tiny sink is useless and has no drain. The shower has a drain, but the screen makes it impossible to dry the rest of the bathroom. The mattresses were decent, and the refrigerator and appliances were fine, but no sheets were provided. Security was poor too. The inner courtyard door wouldn’t close or lock properly, so we tied it shut to feel safer. The entry gate doesn’t lock with a key either. Instead, there’s an odd latch that offers no real security, especially with a dividing wall so low even a dog could jump over it. Apartment 1 does have its own parking space, but opening that gate means blocking the entrance for cars belonging to the other apartments.

The real estate agents were kind and helpful, and the location was the only part I liked. The apartment is much tinier in person than in the photos. There were three of us, but it really only suits two. It’s so cramped you bump into things or each other when turning around, and you have to walk into the TV to reach the bathroom. The sink drain kept clogging and draining slowly. Sadly, I wouldn’t pick this place again.

At 350 reais a day, the quality and price just don’t add up. The apartment is small and doesn’t suit three or more people, even though there are five mattresses. There’s no washing machine or dining table, just a little bar that isn’t comfortable. The Wi-Fi also cuts out now and then. Some appliances have three-prong plugs, but the outlets only take two, so an improvised adapter came in handy. Watch your head on the TV prong when going to the bathroom. We also found cockroaches in the shower drain. You can hear everything the neighbors say or do, so keep that in mind. The complex is only 50 meters from the beach, with supermarkets and bars nearby selling drinks and food, plus an ice cream shop. That was the best part.
