Both the restaurant and the view are lovely. We stopped for lunch during a hike, and the pineapple prawn dish and octopus were so delicious, some of the best food we’ve had in Brazil. Definitely recommend stopping in for lunch.

We could walk to Praia da Tainha, about 400 meters away, and there’s a broad, pleasant deck by the sea with kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and beach chairs. Swimming there was easy and relaxing. The inn itself was wonderful too, with clean, roomy bedrooms and shared spaces where you can cook if you want. Or you can eat at the lovely bar and restaurant, which has fair prices and lets you bring your own bottle without a corkage fee. A big thank you to all the staff for being so kind, polite and willing to do whatever they could to look after us. A warm hug to everyone, and see you next time.

By Praia da Tainha, this inn has a striking seaside setting, lovely views, and a spectacular sunset. Its retro style mixed with a market-like atmosphere gives it a one-of-a-kind feel, with comfort and charm too.

We only stopped for lunch, and it was delightful. The food was delicious and fairly priced, the view was the best, and the service was great.

The trail from the entrance up to Morro Macaco is a great walk.
