B Hotel Brasilia

The view is amazing, and the hotel is quiet, with a design that makes it easy to rest. Breakfast piano music is a lovely touch. The location is great, though the area isn't at all walk friendly. It's probably the best hotel in Brasilia, but the service was neither bad nor particularly special, and there's room to make it a much better experience.

The restaurant was one of the more upscale options in town, with an inventive menu. Its website mentions a farm of its own and indigenous ingredients. I had dinner there twice and enjoyed both meals. Breakfast was included each day, served as a standard continental buffet with a good selection. My room was spacious and well designed, with concrete and wood finishes. The bathroom was huge, with a tub as well as a shower. Hot water came quickly, the pressure was good, and everything felt new and clean. Wifi was fast and had a good signal. Staff were generally courteous, helpful, and accommodating. I visited for three days in February during Carnival week, when the city and hotel were mostly quiet. Valentine's Day was busier, with local couples using the rooms and the rooftop pool and bar. On two afternoons I had the pool to myself and could swim laps. It's narrow, though, so with more than three people it's really only suitable for lounging. There was meant to be nightly jazz, but I didn't see any, perhaps because of Carnival. Brasília is a planned city, so the hotel is in one of the areas where hotels are allowed. Several malls are within walking distance for more dining and other recreation.

The breakfast buffet was great, and we liked the location and staff. We'll stay here again.

The B Hotel in Brasília has a stylish modern look, comfortable rooms, and attentive service. It's well located, with plenty of care given to the details. I'd recommend it for a business trip or a leisure stay.
