Bay Park Hotel

The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a good shower, but the bathroom has lime buildup on the walls and a clogged sink, and the furniture feels cheap. The pool is closed for remodeling, which they don't mention, and breakfast is only okay: the pão-de-queijo and scrambled eggs are fine, but the juices are powdered and the main choices are plain fried food that looks hard to digest. The hotel feels abandoned and needs urgent refurbishment. The entrance looks like a tacky club from the 80s, the main hall is creepy, and the front desk is messy and outdated. Before booking, nobody answered my emails or calls. There’s no concierge or luggage help, and at night one desk attendant has to handle everything. The convenience store is never open. This place could be good, but it urgently needs a manager.
