Pousada Vila do Mar

I'm grateful to Mario and his staff for helping me out when I mistakenly arrived a day before my reservation. The hotel was full and couldn't take me, but they quickly found me somewhere nearby at short notice. I'd stayed here once before, and my two days this time were incredible. The hospitality, amenities, and location were all wonderful. Everyone was cheerful and ready to help with requests, which inspired this 5-star review. It's close to the beach and pier, with plenty of great restaurants and tour kiosks nearby. Thank you for such a great stay.

The pousada has a lot of character, and staying there feels like part of the experience. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, served at an unhurried pace that helped me slow down. It's very close to downtown, so there can be some noise, but earplugs took care of it. The rooms get completely dark at night. I'd choose the same place again.

You need to be able to sleep in a hotel, and here I couldn't. The club noise was so loud that getting even 2 hours of sleep felt impossible.

For Brazilian architecture and design, this is the place. It has a real sense of Brazil and is easily one of the most unique hotels in búzios. I'm picky about hotels, so I split my time between different places, and this was one of the best. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and professional. I can't wait to return. Definitely recommend it.
