Apart hotel Praia do Pero

These are small apartments with a little living room and kitchen, a single bed, and a suite with two double beds. They face the sea, though they’re a bit farther from downtown. There’s parking and internet. The price is affordable, and it works well for a quick overnight trip.

Well organized, clean, functional, attractive, and comfortable. sr. Nilton, who’s in charge, is lovely. Great location too!

The location is genuinely great, right across from the beach, and that was the best part of the hotel. The TV was small but worked, and the fridge worked too. I didn't use the microwave or coffee maker. Everything else was a struggle, and I can't recommend it. There are several hotels next door that look much better for about the same price. They wouldn’t accept my wife’s card for the reservation and insisted on Pix to the owner, without giving a reason. We only found out when we arrived, after a three-hour drive. Parking was confusing too. They didn't know where we could leave the car until the cleaning lady arrived and showed us the right spot. The bed was bad, the mattress uncomfortable, the sofa bed awful, and the extra bed even worse. The shower gave electric shocks and had a mess of wires. The air conditioner was no good. Don’t book anything with Sr Alexandre.

I found out the hard way that Alexandre is the worst person I’ve ever dealt with. Stay away from this place, don’t fall for it! The listing was misleading. After I paid, he disappeared and stopped answering my calls. If I called from another number, he would answer, but not when I called from mine. This feels like a complete scam. Alexandre, your behavior is dishonest. I paid in advance to hold the place because that’s what you told me to do, and unfortunately I fell for it. Your site says there’s no charge to hold a spot and that refunds are free, but what you do is the complete opposite. I’m going to pursue all my legal rights, and you’ll spend far more on a lawyer than it would cost to return my money. You clearly have a lot to learn about consumer law, and even more about being an honest person. If you’re planning a trip, find somewhere else so you don’t end up stressed.
