The setting is the highlight: the inn is near the beach at Pontal do Pero, in a well-preserved protected area with clear water and very fine white sand. It’s quiet there, and the view is lovely. The location also puts Búzios and Cabo Frio within easy reach, roughly between the two. Our room had two beds, air conditioning, and a hot shower, and the cleaning was fine. The owners welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. A car would be useful, and I’d bring a bike if possible for some nice rides, though we managed reasonably well by bus and taxi.

Marta was so friendly and welcoming, and I was very well looked after. The place is peaceful, beautiful, surrounded by nature, and close to Cabo Frio’s best beaches. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

The beach is gorgeous, and being in a reserve makes it feel especially lovely. There aren’t any kiosks there, but the peace is worth it, just bring a cooler with snacks and drinks. My family was delighted by the inn too: the rooms are pretty and comfortable, the welcome is warm, and breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely come back.

Martha, Senhor Machado, and Marcela made the place feel like home. My son and I loved our stay and will be back. It’s a wonderful spot for being close to nature, with a beautiful beach nearby, while also making it quick to get to tourist sights, nightlife, and other places.
