We arrived at the inn on December 23, 2017, and around midnight there was a huge cockroach in the room. The owner sprayed insecticide and apologized, but there was also another dead cockroach under the bed, a lot of dirt, and a musty smell. The floor in the clothes storage area was broken, with pieces lying there. The room and bathroom needed cleaning and some small repairs. The person in charge was very rude and wouldn’t accept criticism. It was a terrible experience. We left in the middle of the night with two small children and went to sleep at another inn. It was very unpleasant. Just to mention, the bathroom is shared.

I bought a package for five days covering two rooms, but when we got there they wanted to put us in just one room with a shared bathroom. After I complained, the man moved us to another place with two rooms, but it was awful. Everything in the room was broken, the sink couldn’t even be touched, and there was a horrible musty smell and cockroaches. Breakfast was awful too. The bread was left open, and on the last few days there was no butter or juice. The rooms weren’t cleaned at all, so I had to clean them myself. The people were rude and scowling. I don’t know how the Cabo Frio city government doesn’t inspect a place like this. We paid for one thing and got something completely different.

The place felt like a cheap motel. I found two cockroaches during just one night there. There was used soap from previous guests, and the broken wardrobe had their cotton swabs inside. The mini fridge was rusty, yellow, dirty, and smelled bad. The place also seemed illegal to me. I was really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
