Bring plenty of mosquito repellent, there are lots of mosquitoes around. The location works well if you arrive by car; without one, Uber or renting a car should do the job. I had a good time in the room, and the staff were really friendly. We became friends quickly, and there was enough to do, though a chessboard would be nice. For a hostel, the breakfast was really nice. It is basic and there's no minibar in the room, but this is a hostel, not a hotel. Maybe the woman who reviewed it before me misunderstood that.

There’s a simple, different feel to this place, and I had a good stay overall. Some tourist attractions are a bit far away, but simplicity is part of what you’ll find here.

The staff were good, but the breakfast was terrible. There’s no minibar in the bedroom, either. Sustainability and being stingy are two very different things.
