Pousada e Hostel Praia do Foguete

The street is residential, quiet, safe, and ends in a dead end, and the inn is so close to the beach. We had a fantastic long holiday with the family. The rooms were clean and smelled nice, and breakfast was complete. There’s also the option of getting a meal there, with that lovely homemade-food taste and smell. Mrs. Meire, her husband, and their son made us feel so welcome. We really miss the inn and them.

We stayed four days as a family and had a really pleasant time. The location is wonderful and peaceful, and the street seemed safe enough that we didn’t miss having parking. The balcony rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, and they also serve lunch, dinner, and some snacks, all made with care at very affordable prices. Sr Whashington and Dona Meire gave us such a warm welcome. It’s a simple place, but very cozy.

The inn still looks like it’s under construction. My room was tiny, the bathroom was missing a faucet, the shower was poor, and the towel was awful. Breakfast wasn’t good, and the small pool was dirty. If I had to rate it from zero to 10, I’d give it a 4.
