Pousada Icthus

Graça was very sweet and helpful. I loved the stay, even though I didn't have a car, since Uber arrived quickly. There's not much nearby apart from the beach and a couple of restaurants. The inn is cozy and you can walk to the beach, though it's not right on the waterfront. Breakfast was good, the rooms were very comfortable, and the bathroom was tiny but adequate.

We came for work and only needed somewhere to sleep. It was a national holiday, and after long calls to several inns that were either full or required at least three nights, I was lucky to find this one. The owners live on site and were very cordial. It's a simple, rustic place without luxuries, but it had everything we needed: a good bed, TV, air conditioning, minibar, and cleanliness. It was just my husband and me for two days, and the breakfast was wonderful. It made me feel at home. The inn is about 5 km from the main center, which isn't a problem if you're driving, and Arraial do Cabo is only a few kilometers away. A great option if you want peace and privacy. The downside was the Wi-Fi: our apartment was on the top floor with a sea view, and the signal kept dropping. The owner had warned us this could happen in that apartment, and choosing it was our decision. 😉

We had a wonderful week. Marta gave us a warm welcome and was very attentive. Everything was clean and well organized, from the inn to the rooms, which had a minibar, air conditioning, clean sheets, and towels. Graça made a delicious breakfast and took special care of my daughter, making her a perfect chocolate cake every day. A thousand out of a thousand, congratulations.
