Pousada Mariá

The afternoon coffee and flavored water the host leaves for guests coming back from the beach was such a thoughtful touch, especially welcoming for us mineiros. Breakfast was simple but tasty and made with care, which made each morning special. The team at Pousada Mariá gave us an incredible welcome and treated us with respect and kindness throughout our stay. Everything was spotless, and the attention to every corner showed how much they care about guests. Congratulations to the whole team. You can tell the people here really enjoy their work. I recommend it wholeheartedly, and I'm grateful to everyone at the inn.

We came across this place on Google, and I was delighted by their spectacular gluten-free service since I'm celiac. It's peaceful and quiet, with a comfortable atmosphere, lovely location, very friendly people, and great service. We're visiting from Argentina and have been very happy here.

My boyfriend and I loved it so much that we've come back more than once. The superior suite was wonderful, breakfast was generous and excellent, and the place felt cozy. It's perfectly located near the main sights, the center, Canal, and Praia do Forte. Highly recommend it.

The staff were polite and the welcome was very good, but our room on the top floor was tiny. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable, and the bathroom felt like a confined space. It was impossible to move around in the shower, and we were afraid the glass might break while we were inside. The PVC bathroom door wouldn't close or lock. It's close to the beach, but I wouldn't return.
