Pousada Villa Rosada

The breakfast was simple but good, and one of the owners was kind and attentive. The rest left me feeling misled by the photos and description. The room was awful, the bathroom poorly kept, the sofas torn, the TVs old, and the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms. The pool was the worst part. I chose a place with a pool for my son, but it was so filthy we couldn't use it. Slabs of sludge came loose and floated in the water. He swam on the first two days, then on the third I went in with him, saw how bad the water was, and didn't let him swim again. I won't return or recommend it.

The Wi-Fi worked really well everywhere, and the location was handy, close to the bus station, a 24-hour supermarket, the mall, and stops for buses to all the beach areas. My husband and I were welcomed and looked after very well. Renovations were underway, but the place still worked perfectly for what we'd planned. I liked it a lot.

It's now a care home for older people, with a lovely, cheerful atmosphere, music, activities, and events for seniors. The team is caring and attentive with the residents.

This was one of the worst places I've stayed. It was filthy, with cockroaches, cobwebs, a musty smell, peeling ceiling paint, and bugs in the fridge. The shower and air conditioning didn't work, the floor was unbelievably dirty, and the kitchen was disgusting. I'm furious and want my money back.
