This was a really unpleasant experience. It was nothing like the photos, and the place was extremely dirty and smelled musty. There was a used-clothing bazaar set up in the middle of the courtyard. We didn't stay. I'm leaving this review to help others. The minibar was dirty, and the rooms hadn't even been swept, with dust everywhere. The bedding was basic but okay, though it was obvious it had been there for days without being changed. The triple room is a sofa, but they don't tell you that, so you expect a bed. They made us waste gas driving all the way there. Such a disappointment and a lack of respect.

The rooms were dirty, which made us uncomfortable as soon as we arrived. Then an electrical short left the inn without power and, as a result, without water. We couldn’t even shower after coming back from the beach, which is a basic necessity. The owner was friendly, but that didn’t make up for the stress and lack of proper facilities. Sadly, our stay was a very bad experience. We don’t recommend it.

I had a reservation, but when I got there the place was completely different from what I expected and was dirty. The power kept cutting in and out, so I decided not to stay. Just a heads-up.

I’ve been trying to find a phone number for a week and still can’t schedule a booking with payment by Pix or debit card on arrival. The booking app only takes Brazilian credit cards, and I don’t use credit. Is there anyone who can sort this out? I’ll update my review once I manage to book.

Paulo, the owner, treated me very well, and the room was good. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Still, the bathroom needed better care because it had a really strong, unpleasant smell, and the inn’s Wi-Fi kept failing. It’s far from Cabo Frio’s main beaches, with no shops nearby. I’d suggest having a car, since app drivers often refuse trips to the area, and the internet problems add to the hassle. For the price, I don’t think staying here is worth it.
