Pousada São Benedito

The people running the place were attentive and helpful, and the location was good. Our room was tidy and clean, with air conditioning and fresh, good-smelling bed linens. Breakfast was excellent: three kinds of fruit, three delicious homemade cakes, including a perfect oatmeal cake, plus plenty of other choices. There’s no parking lot, so we left the car on the street. It felt very safe and easy, as cars are parked along the street at other nearby pousadas too and nobody bothers them.

The pousada is close to Canção Nova, in a very quiet area. It’s welcoming, and Leandro, the owner, really makes the difference with his kindness and attentive service. He made us feel at home and took care of all our needs. I highly recommend it!

Leandro welcomed us so warmly, and the rooms and bed linens were spotless. It’s a family-run pousada with excellent service. Dona Francisca made a lovely breakfast with bread, sweet rolls, and all sorts of homemade cakes. Everything tasted great. Thank you, Leandro and dona Francisca, for your hospitality.

The accommodation is simple, but warm and inviting, and everything was very clean. It’s fairly close to Canção Nova. Staying here feels like finding a mother away from home: senhora Francisca is caring, thoughtful, kind, and always ready to help.
