Hotel Amazonas

Great.

Just average.

I was really disappointed by the Hotel BR 364 in Cacoal RO. On Instagram, the hotel presents itself as animal friendly, but that wasn’t how things went. I was moving to Cacoal and had brought my cat along. At reception, a staff member said something I couldn’t make out, so I asked her to repeat it. She then said she’d need to check with the owner about my cat. While I was resting in the room, the owner called and said they didn’t accept animals at all. I had to leave in a hurry and find another hotel, and I lost my first day of work searching for somewhere to stay. The bed also had broken legs, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was my first time in the city, and that first impression really stuck.

I stayed here for work in Cacoal, and the price for what you get makes sense. The location is great, and the staff are very kind and helpful. The room had a TV with Netflix and paid channels, an air conditioner that worked perfectly, a minibar, and an intercom. The bathroom was great too, with a shower that worked perfectly, and breakfast was very good. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it.
