Recanto Hotel Clube

Great

The receptionist was rude, the bathroom faucets were broken, and the blankets were dirty. Breakfast wasn’t worth what they charged.

Seu Salvador’s service really sets this place apart. We felt very welcome. Everything was well organized and good quality, from the varied breakfast to the clean, pleasant, spacious rooms and the comfortable, fresh-smelling beds. I recommend it without hesitation.

The hotel has a good setup, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There’s a decent place to park overnight in the lot across from the hotel. The downsides were the price, which was higher than other hotels of a similar standard, and the apartment they gave us near the road. There was noise all night from people talking and cars passing. There’s no elevator, which can make things difficult for people with mobility problems, though that’s common in simpler hotels. The TV and minibar were switched off, so we had to hunt for outlets to turn them on, and there wasn’t one near the bed. Breakfast wasn’t good: there was a queue for the sandwich maker, we had to ask them to clean a table outside the dining room and bring more cheese, and some of the cakes weren’t good. The bathroom bidet spray leaked onto the floor. Getting around from the hotel wasn’t easy either. Caetité is on a hill, and the route Google Maps suggested involved very steep climbs and chaotic traffic. One junction connecting three roads had no clear signs at all, and was a complete mess.
