Pousada Acantoar II

Breakfast service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff seemed grumpy and weren't helpful at all!

Simple, but cozy. I liked it a lot! Daiane at reception is really polite and helpful.

It was a good stay. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, and the minibar worked well. They accept pets, and the reception staff were attentive. They also sell toiletries, ice cream, and snacks. The inn is quite large and was nearly empty, and breakfast was very good, with the kitchen staff especially helpful. We did have a big surprise on arrival. Booking showed the name Por do Sol, and we couldn't get through when we tried to call ahead and check. By the time we got there, the name had changed to Acantoar, so we thought we might have the wrong place. Still, it was a good experience.

For the price, it was about what I expected. A single room was 120, and it had the basics, including a minibar, air conditioning, and even a hot shower, which is a bit of a luxury around here. Breakfast was included, though basic.
