The room didn't match the description or the photos, and I was really disappointed with both it and the service. Customer service was terrible. The manager couldn't help sort out the issue or come up with a solution.

We slept badly for all five days. Our room was musty, with mold on the wall and cockroaches, and there wasn't drinking water at the hotel unless we paid for it. No one speaks English, either. We'd booked a double room with air conditioning, but on arrival they said it had none, even though the website listed it. They asked us to pay an extra 100 reais per night to switch rooms, despite the mistake being theirs. I wouldn't recommend room "Double Room" (3).

The pool was wonderful, and being so close to the beach made the stay even more special. The pousada felt welcoming, sophisticated, and very well looked after. Everything seemed thought through for comfort and peace. A flawless experience, and definitely somewhere I'd like to return to. 🌊
