Casinhas do Morro

Right in the center, this little house is in a perfect spot. It was lovely and cozy inside, and everything was clean and neatly arranged. I’d happily stay here again.

The comfortable bed and pillows, fresh clean linens, and lovely shower made it easy to relax. The house is also surprisingly quiet, even though it’s in the center of Morro de São Paulo, close to restaurants, little shops, and just a short hop from the first and second beaches. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, which helped us save on meals since many restaurants in Morro are pricey, and meant less moving around the island during the pandemic. The air conditioning worked well, too. The person who looked after us was attentive and very helpful. I only have good things to say, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We found the place spacious and comfortable, with good light, a comfy bed, and a roomy sofa bed covered in fabric that protects against damp. There’s also a spot to wash your feet before going into the house. Casinhas do Morro is right in the center, near the supermarket, restaurants, and square, but the set-back passage keeps the town noise out. The team was kind and attentive to our requests, and the kitchen had plenty of utensils for a longer stay. I recommend it and would gladly stay there again.

The room is comfortable and has everything you need in a home. What bothered me was that the power cuts whenever you open the door or balcony door. Having to switch it back on every time is a pain. There should be a delay before it shuts off, maybe around 45 seconds.
