The couple’s room smelled moldy, and the bed linens had an unpleasant odor. They need to take more care with cleaning the bedding.

The apartment, bed linens, and towels all smelled strongly of mold. There were also flies, the fridge and other utensils weren’t clean, and the TV worked only on the first day before stopping. We killed two cockroaches on arrival, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen, then found another beside the jacuzzi the next day. After two days the situation was unbearable, so I had to move to a hotel. I’d paid for seven nights and could stay only two, and they wouldn’t refund the money, which was a major financial loss. It really fell short, and I don’t recommend it. There are other pousadas and hotels nearby with far better value, and they let you pay in installments, which this place doesn’t.

We stayed in the deluxe suite and really liked it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was lovely. The kitchen utensils could have been in better condition: the Italian coffee maker had a crust inside, and some plates had stuck-on food. It didn’t seriously affect our stay, though. I also missed the swing shown in the photos. For stays longer than a week, cleaning and fresh towels and bed linens would be useful. All in all, a great option in Morro!

The apartment is huge, has a fine finish, and the air conditioning works well. The condo is quiet, the location is reasonable, and the kitchen is only moderately equipped. Cleaning on arrival was average. One shower was excellent, the other terrible. On the balcony, where the hot tub is, there’s a septic tank and the smell is unbearable. We also found the bed linens and towels unfit to use because they smelled like damp clothes left in storage, almost moldy. I complained to Bahia Inn and they replaced everything. The sheets were fine after that, but the towels still stank and couldn’t be used. A cockroach showed up in the bedroom. I’m staying here right now, on 21/01/2024.
