Pousada Brisa Mar

The air conditioner was old, very noisy, and dripping, so there was a bucket outside each room to catch the water. Breakfast was limited and heavy on fried things like French toast and rain cakes. Hygiene also needs work. The shower needs cleaning once in a while so the water flows better, and the shower screen needs washing too. This place has a lot to improve, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms were being tidied, but they were still obviously dirty. The shower only gave a thin trickle of water, and the air conditioner sounded like a plane crashing inside the room. There was a row of buckets outside because the units were leaking. Breakfast didn’t have much variety. They need to improve quite a bit for the prices they charge.

The place is very basic, and the cleaning was poor. Staff weren’t in uniform, and breakfast didn’t match what was advertised. Animals belonging to the supposed owner wandered around freely, with no front desk or proper access control to make it feel secure. The air conditioners and TVs were very old, most showers didn’t work as they should, and the minibars in the rooms were empty and old. That’s about it...

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Breakfast could use some improvement, though. It’s handy that guests can use a kitchen, which helps keep expenses down.
