The hostel costs far too much for what it offers, and several things made the stay miserable. The bathroom drainage was awful, so the whole area, including the toilet, was flooded all the time. The windows didn’t seal against the wall, leaving gaps that let mosquitoes into the room. Being on the street can be convenient, but the noise from traffic and the restaurant next door woke us every morning, and it was also bad at night. We stayed three days, and they didn’t replace our rags, toilet paper or bed sheet. I’d pick a different Pousada in Morro de São Paulo.

Having breakfast with a straight view of the sea was incredible. The pousada is also right in the center, so everything is close. Denny gave excellent service and made the stay with my partner really special. We told Denny we’ll be back!

We were well looked after, and both the breakfast and room cleaning service were very good. The price was fair, too. The pousada is right by the sea, near the route to the more distant beaches, which was exactly what I wanted, and there are lots of restaurants and little markets nearby.

The location is good, much like other pousadas, but the cleaning and reception were awful. The staff seemed poorly trained, the drawers were broken, and the bathroom speaks for itself. It’s not worth putting up with this place just to save a little.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was very good. They handled all my requests kindly and promptly. The rooms are small, but the value for money is excellent. It’s close to the center, yet far enough away that nighttime noise isn’t a problem.
