The garden is lovely, and there are really inviting hammock spots. They also have yoga classes. Shared rooms are excellent value, and the communal kitchen is very well set up. Breakfast was tasty, though there weren’t many choices and you couldn’t choose what to eat, only the drinks, which also had limited options. The place itself is beautiful.

The hotel has a nice, large kitchen and common area, and the location is good. We had a private room, but it needed a lot of renovation: loose cables, holes in the wall, and plastic pillows. The shared spaces are pleasant, so I’d still recommend it for solo travelers who want to meet people, and you can have a nice stay there. Our main problem was a 10% credit card fee that we only heard about after booking through booking.com and arriving. There was no advance notice or sign at the hotel. I believe this is illegal in Brasil, and that they can only charge what the card operator charges, around 4-5%. That felt abusive. When I said I’d leave a comment on booking, they cancelled our stay as we were leaving, so I couldn’t rate them. Very unprofessional, and in my view illegal. The management was very unprofessional, so don’t let them take advantage of you.

The decor is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s well located, the rooms were okay, and the facilities are handy. Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn’t much choice. A really nice hostel, and I’d recommend it.

The common areas are lovely, well decorated, and great for relaxing. The location is really nice too. But the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were very dirty. Our room slept 7 and had only one fan, so it was hot and full of mosquitoes. Still, it was a nice experience!
