We spent a week here and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Fresh fruit, sweet cakes, and freshly squeezed juices were plentiful at breakfast, with a range of hot dishes available to order too. The private, clean chalets sit within the beautifully landscaped grounds of Villa Zen, which feels like a calm oasis in the paradise of Barra Grande. The yoga area is open and inviting, with a seasonal breeze. The pool is another peaceful spot to cool off, and the Buddha statue adds to the sound of water pouring into it. Highly recommended!

Villa Zen is a great place to stay in Barra Grande, close to the beach as well as all the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Such a lovely, peaceful spot close to the beach. The pool is gorgeous, the staff are all so friendly, and breakfast was great too.

The garden and pool make it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It’s also ideally placed for kitesurfing, with the beach and center both close by. A top spot in barragrande.

Breakfast was delicious, and the place has a lovely atmosphere. It’s near the center too. The downside is that the staff don’t speak English, which makes it difficult to ask for anything when you need help.
