After we booked and paid, the check-in information came automatically by WhatsApp. The key was already in the door of our reserved room when we arrived. It was a simple room, well protected from mosquitoes and with good airflow, but the sheets and towels were poor. The shower drain was loose and clogged, and the bathroom sink had an issue too.

The rooms are spacious, simple, and clean, and they get good airflow despite having no air conditioning. Bring repellent if you want a peaceful night. The location works well if you have a car, and we plan to return.

This inn is set up for getting away from the world and spending time in nature, with a shared kitchen. There’s only a fan in the rooms, no air conditioning or TV, which gets uncomfortable in hot weather. Depending on when you arrive, there may be no staff around to help. It’s also some distance from the village of Praia do Forte, so you need a vehicle to get there. There aren’t any nearby places to eat, and the room fridge had nothing in it, not even water for sale.

We loved the calm, simple feel of this place in the middle of the woods. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and it’s only a five-minute drive from Praia do Forte, so it’s ideal if you want some peace after the beach. We were lucky enough to spot a sloth and its baby in one of the inn’s trees. Ale and Renato were wonderful hosts, always ready to help.

We loved our stay, right in the middle of Reserva Sapiranga with nature all around. Everything was clean, orderly, and thoughtfully done. Full marks!
