I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic. Of all the beaches I’ve seen at five places both north and south of Salvador, this one is the best for swimming.

The atmosphere at Pousada Jambo is so friendly and homey, and the food is delicious with very fair prices. The beach is right by the hotel, and I’ve never seen one so clean and untouched. We’ll remember our stay there. We’d recommend walking to the surf school, about 20 minutes away on foot. Thanks again for such a lovely stay!
