Camozen Resort & Spa

The team here were so warm and genuine, always smiling and taking great care of us. We had an incredible kitesurfing run downwind to a lagoon where the wind, tide, and waves came together. It was the best session of my life 😊, though the place is just as appealing on non-kiting days. There’s a meditation and yoga studio on the sand among the palms, a pool ringed with curtain-draped queen sunbeds, and sunsets that are hard to believe. The cocktail bar kept the excellent Piña Coladas coming. Set among beautiful beaches and palm trees, Camozen feels like a lot of passion and attention to detail went into it. We also enjoyed live music and great tunes with our feet in the sand at Taverna do Fabrize just down the road. Thanks for the hospitality. I can’t wait to come back!

The scenery is gorgeous, and the owners are humble and welcoming. The staff are incredibly kind, too.

Looking for paradise? This is the place.

The rooms were decent, but the shower barely had any water. Calling this a five-star hotel doesn’t make sense to me; it’s really a pousada, not a hotel. What upset me most was the breakfast surprise: several items, including tapiocas, omelets, and cuscuz, cost extra. For such a high price, there are definitely much better options. If I’d been on my own, I would’ve asked for a refund and left.
