The reception, pantry, and breakfast staff were excellent, always helpful, kind, and polite. The hotel itself is just okay, and the area feels a bit deserted later in the day. The bathroom had black marks between the shower tiles that looked like mildew, and the shower glass and tracks were dirty, with more grime that looked like mildew. At least the water was hot. The room was cramped and poorly ventilated, and with three beds it was hard to get to each one. Breakfast had lots of variety, including six kinds of fruit, six kinds of cake, and eggs fried to order. The two juices were from cartons, and it would be better if they were fresh. There was only one flavor of sweetened yogurt, so anyone with diabetes couldn’t have it.

I expected better facilities for a room rate that felt a bit high, and the hotel fell well short. I stayed in a single room, and the space was very small. The bathroom was even smaller, with barely enough room to shower.

The location is good, the staff are attentive, and the accommodation is compact but cozy. It’s also great value for money. Sr. Afonso, the owner, deserves a special mention. He always greets customers with a smile.

The room was small, but it had what I needed, and everything was very clean. The hotel is very well located, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. Sr.Afonso was especially kind and gave us great tips, including the wonderful fair in Sta Cruz. I highly recommend it!!!!

The service was excellent, and breakfast had plenty of variety. My only suggestion is to adjust the shower.
