Vitória Hotel Concept Campinas

The room’s “panoramic view” felt misleading: it was just large windows, and I don’t think that justified the extra charge. Inside, the couch upholstery was stained, there were hairs in the shower, and each guest got only one bath towel. The breakfast staff weren’t very courteous, and the selection lacked the variety I’d expect at similar hotels in the region. Some actual guests were also rude, making an already unpleasant stay worse. The afternoon reception crew on October 10th/2025 came across as unusually snobbish and unfriendly. From the outside, this may seem like a great Campinas option, but the discomfort and aggravations during our short stay prompted me to write this detailed warning. I hope future guests look elsewhere and avoid booking here at all costs. Maybe it was a good choice in the past, but that seems to have changed drastically.

The location was convenient, with good restaurants within walking distance, and breakfast was good. But the room wasn’t comfortable, perhaps because the weather was unusually cold. The windows let in both noise and cold drafts. When I asked about heating, I was told they only had cooling A/C, so I slept under two blankets for both nights.

There was some noise, though nothing major, and the breakfast was great. Maria at reception was outstanding.

Everyone I dealt with was incredibly kind and cheerful. I’m from the U.S., and it was nice that they all spoke English too. The hotel isn’t five-star, but it was clean and the breakfast was amazing. I’d definitely stay again if I return.
