We were worried about our family here. There were lots of single men hanging around the hallways, and on our early departure for the flight, we found a random person asleep in the lobby. The surrounding area was very busy and felt unsafe. Construction noise was going on, and the pool and elevators are very small. Our room was dirty, with filthy walls and stained, ripped sheets. The plugs were coming out of the walls, which seemed like a shock hazard. The shower drained poorly and leaked onto the bathroom floor, and its window wouldn't shut, so I covered it with a shirt for privacy. For our family of four, there was just one large towel and no hand towel. We asked the front desk twice for more, but none arrived. The staff were nice, though getting anything done after asking took a while. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is good, though the bathrooms could use better cleaning. During my stay some medical students from a university were staying there too, making noise and messing around after 10 pm. I think the hotel should do more to stop that.

Breakfast stood out, with local dishes, fresh-squeezed juice, and good coffee. The staff were respectful and well trained. The hotel is a long way from Campo Grande's main tourist spots, in a poor location. Although the rooms have been renovated, some things still didn't work properly, including the sinks and showers.

A very basic place, with clean rooms that are very Gold. Breakfast is included in the daily rate and is good overall.
