Casa do Passarinho

My animals died here. This was the most painful experience of my life. I’d brought them from Asia, more than 10,000 km away, and left two packages of them on the table at this hotel. I remembered four hours later and came back to get them. They told me they’d flushed them down the toilet. They would die there. I don’t know how people can be so cruel, or why they didn’t call me to come get them. This is a real tragedy.

Everything was good, especially how honestly they handled the reservation. We couldn’t go because of an illness in the family.

The property is cozy and has clearly been cared for with a lot of love. It has everything we needed. Excellent.

The house is cozy, and though the furniture is old, it’s well kept. The kitchen has utensils for putting together snacks. I liked everything except the potholed road and the short but steep slope leading up to the house. I’d recommend it to anyone who isn’t looking for luxury.
