The worst part was the owner's attitude. She was extremely rude, quoted one price, then tried to raise it when I went to book for my family. We went ahead because my family had chosen the place, but she insulted me when I asked her to look at the broken shower. The room itself was awful: a hole-ridden floor, shabby appearance, tiny and foul-smelling room, and a shower that didn't work, so I had to take a cold bath in the middle of the 3rd. Breakfast was very poor too. This was the worst experience of my life, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, from the unprofessional treatment to the terrible accommodations.

Although our host received us kindly, this hostel was the only disappointment on the Caminho da Fé. They put us in a very cramped room with four beds almost touching. The walls had mold or water damage, and the wooden door had lots of gaps. If it had been cold in Campos, we'd have been freezing. There was so little room that a pilgrim could barely reorganize a backpack on the floor. Compared with the 13 other inns we stayed at, all of them cheaper, this was by far the worst facility. We won't return, and I don't recommend it.

The hostess dona Marli makes guests feel right at home. Everything was clean and smelled lovely, and breakfast was perfect. The stay couldn't have been better. I highly recommend it.
