The room was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, though it was a bit rough around the edges and could use some redecorating. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s cozy and right in the middle of the Capivari city center, which is very convenient, though there can be some occasional noise from the street crowd at night. That was still quite acceptable.

The breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good for what we paid, especially for a hotel in Campo do Jordão. The free parking is beside the hotel, and its location is convenient. Reception staff were kind and attentive, and the kitchen and housekeeping teams were just as friendly. I’d read complaints about noise from those teams, but they seemed exaggerated to me; I didn’t notice anything unusual compared with other hotels. Our room had a heater but no fan or air conditioning. That was fine in Campos’ mild weather, even at the end of summer and start of autumn. It reached 25 degrees Celsius during the day and dropped to 10 at night. We did miss having a mirror in the room for my wife to get ready, though reception said they were already looking into it. The lighting could also be better, which seems common in many hotels we’ve stayed at. We’d definitely stay here again when we return to Campos.
