Pousada Villa Campos

The staff were consistently kind and attentive, and the room was tidy and clean with a shower that got properly hot. Parque Capivari is roughly 800 meters away, an easy walk, which worked well given the pricey parking and difficulty finding street spaces. Breakfast included eggs, sausage in sauce, about four kinds of fruit, orange juice, yogurt, good cakes, and assorted breads. Everything was wonderful.

We spent a few days here and had a really good time. Breakfast was great, and I'm sure we'll come back.

It's a cozy, peaceful pousada in a great location, and breakfast was very good. In our room, the hair dryer didn't work and the TV remote was faulty. The TV also wasn't a smart TV. Still, we had a good stay and I'd come back.

The afternoon tea and cake, served from 3 to 8, really made the stay for me. The service was great, the location was perfect for getting everywhere on foot, and my small room was comfortable, with a great mattress, good shower, TV, minibar, and charming fireplace. The pousada itself is cute and cozy. Breakfast was simple but had a good range, though the orange juice wasn't replenished. One real problem was the kitchen staff talking loudly from around 6 in the morning. I'd planned to wake at 8:30 and lost more than two hours of sleep. If I return, I won't take room 6. Also, one of the breakfast tables is so close to the bread baskets that I saw a woman's hair practically inside one.
