Pousada Villa Tambo

There’s so much nature here, and so much kindness. The rooms are clean, and the women on staff are wonderfully helpful. Wi-Fi works perfectly, there are streaming channels, and both the shower and bathroom sink have hot water. Breakfast is excellent too. Definitely worth it! 🌻💖✨

If you enjoy nature, this is a nice place. We woke to birdsong, including tico-tico, sabiá, sanhaço, and even a pair of saracura-três-potes announcing the dawn. The hotel is simple, and the rooms even more so. There’s no minibar, hygienic shower, or wardrobe for storing clothes, so it’s really just a place to spend the night. Breakfast was great, and squirrels are often around then, sometimes close enough to interact with. Service was satisfactory.

My little dog felt right at home here, and I loved staying at this pousada. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the creamy coffee and bolinho de chuva. Congratulations to the whole team, especially Tatiane for the great service.

Set in the forest, the place is really beautiful, with animals around, and the breakfast was tasty even though I missed having cold cuts. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive. Our room was cozy, clean, and well cared for, though it could use more light. The hot tub and showers were great, too. The location isn't very remote, and the rough road was still easy enough for a regular car. I highly recommend it.
