Tília Pousada de Charme

We loved our stay as a family and found it a lovely, charming place to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, and Amanda was very kind and attentive. João, the dog, was always there to greet us, too. We stayed in the family room and only wished it had a minibar. Be prepared for the approach, though, since the roads have no infrastructure.

Amanda at reception was a 10 out of 10! The welcome was wonderful, and breakfast was excellent. Our room was comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the garden, and the whole place is attractive and tastefully done.

We rented a car to explore the city and had no trouble at all with the drive or the road. It was a beautiful place, and a great choice for resting close to nature. My wife and I came for our honeymoon, and had an excellent stay. Special thanks to Amanda at reception for taking such good care of us. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, and they offer lots of other services at the inn, too.

I went in January/2025, and Tilia Pousada de Charme is a fantastic place. The dog comes to greet you at the entrance and is very affectionate, and the receptionists were great, always ready to help and answer questions. The rustic design has a lovely view, and everything was clean and organized, with real peace and nature all around. Rooms have TVs, air conditioning with a heater, Wi-Fi, smart TV, and more. Getting there is the big drawback. The dirt roads have no lighting or signs, so it’s easy to get lost, especially at night. The inn even has a video on Instagram showing which street to take. Choose the wrong one and you can end up lost, or needing a mechanic. I want to be clear that this is the city government’s problem, not the inn’s, but it’s why I didn’t give five stars. Still, the place itself is spectacular and highly recommended.
