Pousada Casa Rosa

Okay.

The pool was nice and clean, and so was the outdoor area. Breakfast was simple but very good, all homemade and tasty. The staff were polite, capable, and eager to help guests. Unfortunately, our three-night family stay in two rooms was disappointing overall. The rooms are spacious, and the showers and beds were okay. The bathroom has an aluminum shower enclosure, but the finish needs touch-ups and it could be cleaner. Wi-Fi was too weak to work remotely, and the TV only had channels through the internet, which didn’t work. To watch anything, you’d have to use your phone’s hotspot. It wasn’t a good experience, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from, and the service was excellent. The pousada is in a very quiet neighborhood, easy to reach and close to everything. The rooms were clean and smelled really fresh. There’s a games room with a pool table and pacal, plus a large pool area with tables, chairs, and loungers. Both the games room and pool stay open late. I recommend it.

The location is really convenient, close to the main tourist sights but away from the busy areas. It made a big difference having somewhere so peaceful and quiet to come back to and truly rest. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we arrived, and made us feel at home. The pousada is cozy and pretty, and everything is spotless and cared for down to the smallest detail. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and thoughtfully prepared. A lovely stay from beginning to end. I’d recommend it without hesitation and hope to return soon!
