We had a wonderful time, and the receptionists were really kind. The park was amazing, and there was plenty of space to sit with a coffee or just relax. The restaurant was incredible, with really inexpensive food. The only trouble was our bathroom: it wasn't very clean and had hair in it, and once they didn't leave soap or shampoo. The swimming pool also wasn't working.

The location was great, with plenty of places to eat and shop, and you can walk downtown. It's a perfect spot for a romantic weekend with your partner. The hotel has a lovely green area that makes you feel immersed in nature, plus a large lake and comfortable rooms overlooking it.

The breakfast follows the regional “café colonial” style, which is famous and typical here. The setting is close to everything, including Gramado. I visited during the holiday, and the place's concept is wonderful. Grande hotel Canela is a great place to stay in Serra Gaúcha. It's 100 years old, beautiful and historic, with a big old house you can explore to learn about the building. The modern part is just as interesting.

It's well located and still a good hotel, though some areas could use maintenance.

I only stayed one night, but the hotel was amazing. Thereza had lots of ecological areas to enjoy, a little lake with some geese, a pool, and an incredible breakfast.
